Bialsky Deisgn & Development, Adre Kikoski Architect, D&D Harvey Architects Use: 3 Separate Single Family Structures Size: Building 1: 16,250 SF, Building 2: 12,400 SF, Building 3: 10,800 SF Description: DiLandro Andrews Engineering performed structural engineering services for the deep foundation and superstructure for each of the three single family residences. Additionally the design scope extended to the approximately 240 foot marine bulkhead which adjoins the residences and Sag Harbor Cove. Each building utilized a steel skeleton with composite slab infill to both reduce diaphragm depth and increase diaphragm rigidity while also allowing for an expedited construction schedule.
Westhampton, Long Island

Description: DiLando Andrews Engineering prepared the structural engineering design for the deep foundation and steel superstructure for the residence which sits within a FEMA designated flood plain in Westhampton Beach. The residence features cantilevered roofs and terraces as well as many large scale glazings facing Quantuck Bay. The design utilized a fully concrete foundation, a first floor slab supported by timber piles and strategically located CIP concrete exterior walls. In addition, it contains a steel skeleton with composite deck infill for the second floor, such that the remainder of the building resisted gravity and lateral loads.

Description: DiLando Andrews Engineering prepared structural engineering services in support of the project architects vision. Substantial second floor cantilevers over 18'-0" from the glass exterior walls of the structure. Strategically placed second floor windows and doors allowed for the use of exterior wall trusses to combat deflection and achieve such aggressive cantilevers.

Description:DiLandro Andrews Engineering prepared the structural engineering design for the gambrel framed residence which includes a lower level walkout. The residence features an expansive indoor pool and bowling alley in the lower level and all glass octagon which extends from the lower level to the roof. Rigid connections were designed to resist lateral forces at the connection points between the octagon feature and main residence.
